Returns Policy

At Zuff Fire GmbH, customer satisfaction and safety are very important to us. As our products are safety-related and single-use, specific return conditions apply. This policy explains your rights and our procedures clearly and transparently.

1. EU Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you (or a third party designated by you) receive the goods.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return and refund, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The product is unused and unopened
  • The original seal and packaging are intact
  • The product is in resalable condition
  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery

Because ZUFF is a single-use fire safety product, any item that has been opened, activated, or used cannot be returned.

3. Non-Returnable Items (Safety & Hygiene Exception)

For safety, hygiene, and liability reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or activated
  • Products with damaged or missing seals
  • Products returned outside the 14-day withdrawal period
  • Products damaged due to improper storage or handling

This exception is permitted under EU consumer law for sealed goods that, for safety reasons, cannot be returned once opened.

4. Amazon Orders (FBA & FBM Compliance)

If you purchased ZUFF through Amazon:

Amazon Fulfilled (FBA)

  • Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with Amazon’s return policy
  • Amazon may accept returns on our behalf
  • Used or opened safety products are not eligible for resale and may be disposed of for safety reasons

Merchant Fulfilled (FBM)

  • Our return rules outlined in this policy apply
  • All return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery

This policy is designed to meet or exceed Amazon Marketplace requirements.

5. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order:

We will review your request and provide return instructions where applicable.

6. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the product is defective or incorrect
  • Returned items must be shipped using a tracked service
  • Zuff Fire GmbH is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment

7. Refund Processing

Once a returned item has been received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless required by law

8. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is:

  • defective
  • damaged upon delivery
  • incorrect

9. Important Safety Notice

For safety reasons:

  • Attempting to reuse a returned safety product is unsafe and prohibited
